Alecia Beth Moore-Hart (née Moore; born September 8, 1979), known professionally as Pink (stylized as P!NK), is an American singer and songwriter recognized for her acrobatic stage performances and activism. Pink began her music career at age 15 by forming the short-lived girl group Choice, which signed with LaFace Records in 1995 but disbanded without releasing major material. She released her debut solo album, "Can't Take Me Home" (2000), which achieved commercial success and was certified double platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA). Produced by Babyface and influenced by contemporary R&B, the album included the US Billboard Hot 100 top-ten singles "There You Go" and "Most Girls."
